a year since the Golden Goblins in <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Edmonton</st1:place></st1:City>.
I may or may not have updated after that, but since winning 1<sup>st</sup> in
LOTR with Gandalf, and 3<sup>rd</sup> in 40K with Asurmen, I had not really
touched the brush at all since.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>Just before Christmas, my friend Tom, in <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Calgary</st1:place></st1:City>, who is a long time D&D gamer,
asked if I could do a couple of quick PC figures for him for his players. Well
it seemed like a great way to get back into the groove, so I painted up Baerwyn
the archer from Reaper minis and another (unknown manufacturer) figure for a
Warforged character. Both turned out decent for gaming pieces, and I
specifically like the camo pattern and the “Cylon eye” on the
Warforged character.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>Since I had some days off over the holidays, I also decided
to tackle a commission that had been sitting on my desk for a year. Ian Newbold
(from Newbold Wrold) had sent me two Trollgrim characters to paint. The first
is a Heavyweight boxer, and the second is the Cornerman. Both came out pretty
nice, though I really like the Cornerman the best. He is glad to get them and I
am glad to get them done!<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

first being Lorna the Huntress by Lisa Wood, and the second beign a Bloodbowl
player by Aaron Platt. Both repaints are fantastic!<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

the fabled Chick Challenge so I have an entry all prepped, primed and ready to
go for that, as well as a LOTR figure (Strider) for the upcoming Warpstone
painting contest at GROTsCon in Red Deer. I shall try to get both done as well
as another GW fig for the contest though these will likely be quite
time-consuming.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
