Mountain Troll

Another of the great Games Workshop Trolls. I decided to go with the colors I chose because of the contrast between them. The belly and face were drybrushed with US light ghost grey (Polly scale) and then I tried to draw dark blue veins across them. The sores, naturally, were the same purply-pink to apply some color to the mini. The stone hammer head was relatively simple; the same US light ghost grey, some black ink wash, some more light grey and a bit of tweaking here and there.

The back plates were both simple and a royal pain. The base color (Deep Demon Red) was applied and then I drybrushed Blood red over that. Next I had to wash the seams in between the plates with a watered down black and finally, I touched up each plate with some red and orange shading. It took a very long time but I still have another one of these left to paint.
